Terms of Use
Last updated: October 24, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Snagback, run by Vital Kyungu ("we", "us"), for the Snagback iPhone app and snagback.app. By using Snagback you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
What Snagback does
You add things you bought. We track each store's price-adjustment window, check prices where we can, and alert you when a price drops. We also help you write a claim to the store. We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by Best Buy, Target, Costco, Home Depot or any other store.
No guarantee of refunds
- Whether you get money back is always the store's decision, under the store's own policy.
- We summarize store policies as best we can, but stores change them, apply exclusions (like clearance, open-box or marketplace items), and may treat members differently. Check the store's current policy before you claim.
- Prices we show come from store and third-party sources and can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Some stores we can't check automatically; for those we remind you to check yourself.
- Alerts can be late or missed (for example, if notifications are off or a service is down). Don't rely on Snagback as your only reminder for a deadline that matters to you.
Your account
- You need to be at least 13 to use Snagback.
- Keep access to your Apple ID or email secure; you're responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete my account).
Use it fairly
Only add purchases that you (or your household) actually made. Don't use Snagback to make false claims to stores, to abuse your forwarding address, to try to break or overload the service, or to copy or resell it. We may suspend accounts that do.
Snagback Plus subscriptions
- The free plan tracks up to 3 purchases at a time. Snagback Plus removes that limit and adds the features described in the app.
- Plus is a subscription billed by Apple to your Apple ID at the price and period shown in the app before you buy.
- It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel it anytime in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your Snagback account does not cancel it.
- Refunds for subscriptions are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
- Founding-member and other special prices last as long as that subscription stays active without a break.
- During the beta, testers may get Plus features free. That ends when the beta ends.
Changes to Snagback
We're a small, new service. We may add, change or remove features or supported stores, and we may stop offering Snagback. If we stop, we'll give you notice where we reasonably can. If we change these terms in an important way, we'll tell you in the app or by email; continuing to use Snagback after that means you accept the new terms.
Disclaimer and limits
Snagback is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, including that it will be error-free or that any price, policy or alert is accurate or timely. To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for refunds a store doesn't give you, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us for Snagback in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Snagback or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you as an app user.
